Poems of Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou was a masterful wordsmith with the ability to evoke a multitude of emotions within readers of her poetry. In this book, I drew inspiration from her Christian beliefs where God, the potter, created unique, beautiful, and fragile pieces, humanity. The potter's creations are vulnerable and are broken when confronted by forces around them. In most cases, they can be repaired. Many of Ms. Angelou's poems deal with the breaking and repairing of people.
